Alternative, Renewable Fuels and Vehicles

The worst tragic incidents which are not reported as headline news anymore are that around the world, a record "3.2 million people a year died from air pollution in 2010, compared with 800,000 in 2000. It now ranks for the first time in the world's top 10 list of killer diseases, says the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study." One cause is the increasing numbers of cars in the fast-growing cities in Asia, the epicenter of air pollution globally. In the 2010 study, over "2.1 million people in Asia died prematurely from air pollution, mostly from the minute particles of diesel soot and gasses emitted from cars and lorries. Other causes of air pollution include construction and industry. Of these deaths, says the study published in The Lancet, 1.2 million were in east Asia and China, and 712,000 in south Asia, including India."

Ozone forms a protective layer from the sun's ultraviolet radiation when it is above the atmosphere of the Earth. However, ozone is toxic at ground level where humans can breath it in. Ground-level ozone is one of the main components of smog, which is formed by the interaction of hydrocarbons (unburned or evaporated gasoline) and nitrogen oxides in the presence of sunlight. "Ground-level ozone (tropospheric ozone) is a pollutant with highly toxic effects. It is a health hazard causing damage to human health, the environment, crops, and a wide range of natural and artificial materials." Ozone and fine particulate matter are the most prevalent components of air pollution. Most of the motorized vehicles in land, sea and air transportation are the top contributors to the increasing smog, environmental pollutions and climate changes worldwide. Air pollution is present in hundreds of the cities and towns around the world.

Filipino inventor takes flight in electric passenger drone

From April to July 2010, the BP oil spill disaster "has surpassed the Exxon Valdez as the worst in U.S. history." Its oil spills killed the marine and wild life in the coasts of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, some of which reached as far as the western coast of Florida. Thousands of jobs, careers, professions and other sources of incomes from the fishing, tourism and other industries were lost!

Although BP, other companies, contractors, the government departments and agencies, etc. spent billions of dollars in cleaning up the oil spills, it would take many years to completely return the natural habitat and environment to their normal conditions. It has been over 2 decades since the Exxon Valdez oil disaster in Alaska, some of the oil are still "trapped along miles of gravel beaches more than 20 years after the Exxon Valdez tanker disaster in Prince William Sound. An estimated 20,000 gallons of crude remain in Prince William Sound, even though oil remaining after the nearly 11-million-gallon spill had been expected to biodegrade and wash away within a few years."

Do you know that the ExxonMobil Exploration and Production is drilling for oil and gas in Sulu Sea? Since 2009, they have spent over $400 million for the 4 exploration wells which yielded very useful data. Another oil establishment, the Nido Petroleum Ltd., an Australian-led consortium, has struck oil offshore in northwest Palawan, in addition to the few existing foreign-owned oil rigs which have been operating and producing oil in the Philippines. The BP oil spills which occured last year in the Gulf of Mexico could happen too in the Philippines perhaps due to an accident, the man-made violent acts and/or the forces of nature - earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons, space objects - to the oil rigs, and the super-oil tankers in the Philippine seas and other nearby Asian countries.

We must not forget that the oil establishments contribute money to the politicians! "The big five companies also attempted to curry favor with politicians by donating money to campaigns via oil company political action committees. The 2008 cycle saw $3.6 million in contributions to federal candidates and parties. Four out of the five companies are in the top 10 of oil and gas contributors to federal candidates and parties. Unfortunately, these contributions and their lobbying efforts have been largely successful. Last year they were able to whittle down the repeal of $25 billion in tax breaks and recovered royalties to only $8.9 billion as part of the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 – about one-third as much as originally proposed in June 2007."

Enough is enough! The local and imported fuel and our over dependence from the OPEC, and other oil cartels must be replaced with the alternative, renewable, cleaner, cheaper fuels and other sources of energies. We have the existing technologies which the oil producers, marketers, fuel dealers, their stockholders, loyal supporters including their lobbyists to some politicians and other government officials, and the selected media do not want us to know. They deceive us of the so-called disadvantages of the alternative and renewable energies.

One obvious fact on the alternative energy is that the world's largest country which is also one of the top oil producers and exporters, Russia has started manufacturing the hybrid cars too! The Yo-mobile has a rotary engine which uses ultra capacitators, an energy-storing device seen as an alternative to lithium-ion batteries. They are installed on all other hybrid cars currently in production. The capacitators store energy they receive directly from the engine and do not require re-charging from a power network. "Lithium-ion batteries are a mistake, a dead-end," said the car's developer Andrei Biryukov.

Alternative energies have been available since 200 years ago!

The Philippines is the world's second largest producer of geothermal generated electricity.  The Leyte Geothermal Power Plant in Tongonan, near Ormoc City, supplies the electricity needs of the entire Leyte island as well as Biliran, Samar, Panaon, and parts of Bohol and Cebu islands. There is no need to depend mostly on gasoline, diesel and bunker fuels. The 2014 hybrid-electric cars, buses and trucks are now available in the markets. The electric jeepneys are now running in Makati City and other cities in the Philippines. Thousands can afford to purchase the electric motorcycles, electric scooters, electric bicycles as well as the electric bike and motorcycle kits. Filipinos can install them in the existing bicycles or buy the new bicycles from SM Mega Mall, Ayala Shopping Mall, Gaisano Mall and other dealers in Cebu City, for example.

Furthermore, “Chevron, through Chevron Geothermal Philippines Holdings Inc., develops and produces steam for the 289-MW geothermal facility in Tiwi, Albay, and the 458.53-MW power plant in Mak-Ban, located in areas in Laguna and Batangas. These geothermal facilities supply power to the Luzon grid... According to the company's website, Chevron expects to sign a 25-year renewable energy contract with the Philippine government before year's end to continue operating the steam fields and to supply steam to the two geothermal plants, after the government sold these facilities to Aboitiz Power Corp. in May 2009. Chevron, in particular, was working on a Financial or Technical Assistance Agreement (FTAA) with the Aquino administration.” The best news currently on renewable and very clean energy in the Philippines is that the world's biggest geothermal producer, Chevron Corporation, plans to invest P13 billion (about $300 million U.S.) to build another 100-megawatt geothermal power facility in Kalinga, northern Luzon. The APC Group disclosed at the Philippine Stock Exchange that “since the project was covered by a renewable energy service contract, it will be the first major international investment to the country under the Renewable Energy Act of 2008.”

The Philippines can learn from the wind-power earning potentials from ABB, the leading power and automation technology group. The industrial company has won “an order worth around $1 billion from the Dutch-German transmission grid operator TenneT to supply a power link connecting offshore North Sea wind farms to the German mainland grid.” ABB can “design, engineer, supply and install the offshore platform, the offshore and onshore converter stations and the land and sea cable systems... 'Offshore wind power is emerging as a major source of large-scale renewable energy in Europe to help meet emission targets and lower environmental impact,' said Peter Leupp, head of ABB's Power Systems division. ABB is uniquely positioned with in-house manufacturing capability of converter stations, cables and semiconductors, the essential components of HVDC systems, and has invested significantly in these technologies.” There is an existing wind-power electric station, the Benguet Wind Farm, in Ilocos Norte which can be duplicated in some ideal windy locations in over 7,500-Philippine islands.

Dr. Steven M. Greer is the American physician who founded The Disclosure Project. In the first conference of the Advanced Research Projects Agency– Energy (ARPA-E), a new U.S. government agency set up to promote and fund research and development of advanced energy technologies, a chemist Dan Nocera from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology presented his new photosynthetic process. Using a special catalyst, he showed the process which "splits water into oxygen and hydrogen fuel efficiently enough to power a home using only sunlight and a bottle of water. Like organic photosynthesis, Nocera's reaction uses sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and energy. However, whereas plants create energy in the form of sugars, this process creates energy in the form of free hydrogen. That hydrogen can either be recombined with the oxygen in a fuel cell to generate electricity, or converted into a liquid fuel. In about four hours, water treated with Nocera's catalyst can produce 30 kilowatt-hours of energy. Moreover, the process is cheap. So cheap, in fact, that Nocera has no problem envisioning a day when each house generates its own fuel and electricity from photosynthesis."

Nicola Tesla (July 10, 1856 to January 7, 1943) discovered the alternating current light and electric power system which are being used today all over the world. "With the discovery of electricity, everybody expected that all cars would be electric and run on rechargeable batteries. Tesla had gone one better and actually produced a working automobile that ran on electricity taken from the surrounding ether like an antenna picks up radio waves. This would revolutionize travel just like his AC induction motor had revolutionized the industrial world. The 3 stooges Morgan, Rockefeller, and Ford had to sabotage his idea at all costs.... No air polluting gasoline engine meant no oil monopoly for Rockefeller & the Standard Oil Company. No oil monopoly meant no excuse for Rockefeller to own the U.S. government, & no excuse to be involved in foreign countries ...."

In addition to Tesla's suppressed invention or technology, solar power is the new oil! The super renewable and cleanest source of energy is being used in Australia to power the Solar Sailor. Solar Sailor is a technology company which manufactures ships with hybrid solar-wind-batteries and backup generators to propel the ships. The company makes ships for commercial, recreational and governmental services. Solar Sailor "technologies are Hybrid Marine Power (HMP), an integrated hybrid electric technology and Solarsails which harness renewable solar and wind energy." In its official website, it says "our technologies are suitable for a range of applications from small unmanned vessels to large tankers, including ferries, tourist cruisers and private yachts. The results are vessels offering redundancy of power, fuel efficiency, exceptional passenger comfort, low environmental footprint and zero emissions at the wharf." When the sun is not shinning due to the cloudy skies, bad weather or when it is night time and its rechargeable battery is getting low on electricity, Solar Sailor has a backup generator to propel the boat or ship to its destination.

For over 40 years, Filipino inventor Daniel Dingel had demonstrated his Toyota and other vehicles which ran on water as fuel. Dingle built a car reactor which used electricity from a 12-volt car battery to split the ordinary tap water into hydrogen and oxygen components, and used the hydrogen to power his car. "Dingel said that a number of foreign car companies have expressed interest in his invention. The officials of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) have dismissed Dingel's water-powered car as a hoax. In return, Dingel accused them of conspiring with oil producing countries." During an interview, he said that the former President Cory Aquino rode in Dingel's car and promised to help his invention to be produced for the great majority of Filipinos. He later found out that the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund supported the Philippine government, and that the WB and IMF also supported the oil establishments. Dingel's invention was and is the enemy of the oil cartels.

Dingel invented the water-powered car, as he claimed, to help solve the world's worsening oil crisis.  "It's better than the electric-powered car that the U.S. has developed because Dingel's car only uses water to fire up a vehicle, unlike an electric car which runs on hydrogen that still depends on electricity. Dingel believes that the reason why government refuses to recognize his invention is because many government officials actually hold interests in the oil industry...  he presented this invention to a number of Presidents but only Erap [Pres. Estrada] expressed interest.  2 days before he was ousted as President, Erap was prepared to sign a memorandum that would recognize Dingel's technology to the benefit of our consumers...  Dingel is 80-something already. He might not see the day when his invention is finally recognized by any government. Up to now, he says he is not interested in selling his technology to foreigners because he wants Filipinos to benefit from it first," according to Dingel's interview over the radio program Magandang Morning with Julius & Tin-Tin on DZMM. However, Dingel was not the only man on Earth who experimented and tested water as the ultimate fuel to power the engines of the economies and industries.

The American inventors Rudolf Gunnerman, Stanley Meyer and the researchers of the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory worked on similar experiments. Stanley Meyer was one of the inventors of the water-powered car. He received patents for his invention and was offered over 1 billion U.S. dollars from the Arabs. He received requests from the U.S. Government to shelf his invention and keep quiet. Nevertheless, Meyer continued with his project and completed a test vehicle using his patented HHO cracking device. However, he died from an illness while eating at a restaurant. Some said that Meyer was poisoned by the ....

A Japanese company Genepax Co. Ltd. recently revealed an epoch-making technology, "Water Energy System (WES)," which is capable of generating electric power from water. It generates electric power with no aid of any external energy and without any emission of green house gas, e.g., carbon dioxide and methane. Genepax will go into mass production with an auto company in the next several months. The Japanese H20-powered cars and other vehicles in the future could cause again the filing of bankruptcy to the American vehicle manufacturers that are delaying the full utilization of the alternative and renewable fuels!

Another technology is Rotapower. Rotapower is the world's most advanced and cleanest rotary engine for hybrid electric cars, boats and other motorized vehicles including small aircrafts! The futuristic Moller cars use their Rotapower engines to drive out of the garage and fly into the sky. Rotapower is engineered to perform using multi-fuels either gasoline, alcohol, natural gas, or propane. The rotary engines are now being manufactured in Asia.

About 200 years ago, Swiss engineer Francois Isaac de Rivaz invented an internal combustion engine that used a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen as fuel. The first electric cars were invented some 25 years later. Daimler invented the modern gas engine in 1885 while Benz invented the gas-fueled car in 1886. In the beginning of the 20th Century, the electric cars were more popular than gasoline-powered vehicles, for the same reason that the car and truck buyers are taking a second look at the electric vehicles today.

Rudolf Diesel (1858-1913) invented the first diesel engine to run on peanut oil which he demonstrated at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1900. However, Diesel died in 1913 before his vision of the engine powered with vegetable oil was fully realized. "Diesel believed the utilization of a biomass fuel to be the real future of his engine. He wanted to provide farmers the opportunity to produce their own fuel." In 1911, he said "The diesel engine can be fed with vegetable oils and would help considerably in the development of agriculture of the countries which use it."

"Ethanol has been used as a motor fuel in North America since the early 1900s." Henry Ford designed the Model-T to run on ethanol, made from corn and other renewable biological matters. "However, gasoline emerged as the dominant transportation fuel in the early twentieth century because of the ease of operation of gasoline engines with the materials then available for engine construction, a growing supply of cheaper petroleum from oil field discoveries, and intense lobbying by petroleum companies for the federal government to maintain steep alcohol taxes."

"One of the most striking characteristics of the 20th century was the emergence of the automobile for personal transportation. There are today in the world 700 million of these vehicles in circulation, the great majority of them with Otto cycle engines running on gasoline. Automobiles are today an integral part of our way of living. They shaped the whole transportation system of mankind and represent a very significant fraction of the GDP of many countries. As developing countries grow and develop, the number of automobiles in the world will grow. The number of such vehicles per capita is approaching 1 in industrialized countries but is much smaller in today's developing countries and thus likely to grow significantly.

"In China there are only 20 automobiles per 1000 people compared to 700 per 1000 people in the United States. The gasoline necessary to feed these automobiles is roughly 20 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, one quarter of the world petroleum consumption from which it is produced and, unfortunately, petroleum is found in relatively few regions of the world. Exports and imports of this commodity are a most important item in international trade and many countries are critically dependent on petroleum imports. This is the case for the United States, as well as many developing countries...." In South America, Brazil was in the same situation as the United States and the developing countries including the Philippines.

Ford Model T cars were engineered to run on ethanol

Brazil is way ahead of U.S.A. & the rest of the world!

"When it comes to ethanol and flexible-fuel vehicles, Brazil is way ahead of the U.S., and indeed the rest of the world. As the fuel crises of the 1970s hit Brazil, the government reacted with Proálcool produced from sugar cane, a major product of Brazil, to reduce dependence on imported oil. In the early 1970s, up to 25 percent alcohol was blended with gasoline. Brazil responded to the second crisis with vehicles that could run on 100 percent alcohol. By 1984, over 90 percent of Brazilian cars and light trucks ran on alcohol, in part because the fuel was available everywhere in Brazil and also because subsidies and incentives made ethanol substantially cheaper than gasoline. However, when oil prices dropped in the mid-1980s and new offshore oil fields were discovered, gasoline became cheaper than the still-subsidized alcohol fuels. This was further compounded by a drought and a poor sugar harvest that disrupted the supply of alcohol. The result? Alcohol capable cars represented less than one percent of new vehicles in 1997.

"Brazil learned a lesson from these ups and downs and has since turned to flexible-fuel vehicles that can run on any fuel from pure gasoline to pure alcohol. In reality, all Brazilian gasoline is blended with at least 24 to 25 percent ethanol. Almost all fueling stations in Brazil - 29,000 out of 31,000 - also offer 100 percent ethanol for older alcohol-only vehicles still on the road. Brazil currently has between 3 and 4 million ethanol fueled vehicles. Alcohol costs on average about half that of gasoline, plus motorists receive a tax credit on alcohol cars because of cleaner tailpipe emissions. The bottom line is that Brazil is almost immune to the instabilities, and price fluctuations, in gasoline supplies. Today, Brazilian motorists can fill their tanks with any blend of gasoline or ethanol they choose, depending on which is cheaper, or more convenient."

In addition to Brazil's flexible-fueled cars and trucks, they have vehicles which can run either on alcohol, gasoline or CNG. They are primarily taxi fleets with their own CNG facilities, although CNG is available at some public fueling stations. Besides considerable savings from using CNG, the Brazilians also help reduce the pollution in their cities.

Natural gas is renewable and less expensive than gasoline, diesel, biodiesel and ethanol. "Found in reservoirs deep below the earth's surface and ocean floors, natural gas is formed by the decay of organic matter. Natural gas reserves come from large quantities of plant and animal remains that have accumulated between layers of sediment on the bottoms of lakes and oceans over millions of years. The pressure from the layers of sediment and the heat from the earth's core convert the organic materials into natural gas, petroleum and coal. All oil deposits contain natural gas, although natural gas is often found without oil. Natural gas has two varieties, namely, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). The preferred fueling method for light to medium Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV), CNG stations dispense between five and ten gallons per minute. Heavy-duty NGVs with weight and range requirements typically fuel up on LNG, which allows them to store more fuel on board with less tank weight. L/CNG stations can service both types of NGVs by converting LNG into CNG."

While increasing numbers of environmentally-conscious consumers are buying NGVs, the largest market for NGVs are the fleet owners and operators that want to reduce fuel costs and the pollutions. In fact, 40% of the buses on order use the natural gas. There are hundreds of hybrid natural gas and electric buses in cities such as Honolulu, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, and many other American cities. Today, there are hundreds of natural gas-powered taxi fleets, courier and delivery fleets, government and police fleets, community fleets, trades and commercial fleets, etc.

Based in the U.S.A., Dr. Cruz and the EcoEnergy International consulted with the goverment officials, companies, institutions and groups in Australia, Azerbaijan, Belize, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cuba, Germany, Ghana, India, Paraguay, Philippines, Russia, Turkey, Uganda, United States, Vietnam ... in the development and production of biodiesel fuels.

With the cooperation of the "people's power" from the Overseas Filipino Workers and the Filipinos who are citizens and residents in foreign countries, we could make our goal sooner than expected. Therefore, we would like to invite the Overseas Filipino Workers and Filipino citizens and residents in foreign countries to invest and cooperate with us, the "bayanihan" spirit, in the alternative and renewable fuels' production including the necessary ferry and passenger hovercraft transportation.

The Biofuels Law or R.A. 9367 is investor-friendly. "It provides tax incentives and financial assistance to encourage investments in biofuels. The tax incentives include a 0% specific tax on local or imported biofuel component per liter of fuel. Another is the exemption of the sale of raw material used in the production of biofuels from the Value Added Tax.... On the one hand, RA 9367 mandates that the Development Bank of the Philippines, Land Bank of the Philippines, Quedancor and other government financial institutions extend financing to those engaged in the production, storage, handling and transport of biofuel and biofuel feedstock, and the blending of biofuels with petroleum."

If we want to be really free from the imported oil's 100-year slavery, there is always a way. We have the existing wind-driven electric generators in Northern Luzon as well as the geothermal electric plants in Southern Luzon and Central Visayas. We have the tropical sunlight to charge the solar cells and the unlimited deuterium ... courtesy of our Heavenly Father and Savior - Christ or Yahshua! There is no need to resurrect the unfinished nuclear power reactor in Bataan which is not safe due to the usual earthquakes, typhoons, potential accidents and man-made attacks. The radioactive wastes from the nuclear reactor will still be toxic and deadly for the next several thousand years!

Tidal Electric power stations can be built near certain islands in the Philippines

Patriarch Bartholomew, who is the "green patriarch" because of his environmental activism, "called the recent oil spill in the Gulf Coast a sin against nature and God. Bartholomew, who is the spiritual leader of the world's 300 million Orthodox Christians, said the situation calls for urgent prayers for an effective response to the crisis.   [W]e also have a responsibility not only to pray, but also to declare that to mistreat the natural environment is to sin against humanity, against all living things, and against our creator God," wrote Patriarch Bartholomew in The Huffington Post's column.

The Revs. Jim Ball and Mitchell Hescox, leaders of the Evangelical Environmental Network, visited southern Louisiana to pray with the people who lost their jobs because of the oil spills. Rev. Galen Carey of the National Association of Evangelicals joined the 2 Evangelical ministers. Rev. Ball and others were saddened to see the oil-spattered marshes where the birds were nesting. He said that "the oil spill is a stain on the nation's stewardship of God's creation, and should inspire people of faith to embrace cleaner energy sources. Ball says how the nation responds to the disaster is a matter of values."

From the book, "Trading With the Enemy: An Expose of the Nazi-American Money Plot" which this author had read around 25 years ago, he learned that there were very, very famous American companies and industries that continued to make money with their enenies even as millions of their fellow Americans fought against and were killed during World War 2. One book reviewer, Donald Bellunduno, wrote: "The bottom line of this book is quite simple: in America in the 1930s - as it is now, business is business. It doesn't matter if business men are dealing with a sweet little old lady who's selling flowery vases on a street corner or a multi-million dollar chemical industry that produces deadly toxins that are used to destroy hundreds of thousands of lives - business is business. And those who were given the opportunity to take part in it easily fell into the old trap: absolute power corrupts absolutely. Especially if there's money to be made. Even the American Government was powerless to stop certain American companies from selling aviation fuel and oil to the NAZIS during the time we were at war with Germany!!! Umm...those facts seem to have been left out of your average 9th Grade American reader. Hmmm...I wonder why? So much for being loyal to your country, or doing the right thing for the greater morality of the time. Mr. Hingham's book outlines the rampant treason that was going on in American industry before, during, and after the Second World War. And, if you'd like a nice follow up to this book, read THE BEAST REAWAKENS by Martin Lee. His book takes up somewhat where this one leaves off: the treason continues..."

Cars like the Rolls Royce can be built to last for over 80 years

The oil establishments and their greedy stockholders, and others that are making a very, very wealthy but polluted living out of the local and imported oils (for example, Enron in which some of its top executives were indicted and now BP oil) cannot prevent some factions in our endangered society from publishing and telling the truth. Some preachers and writers have been teaching for several decades that the coming Battle of Armageddon or World War 3 is also about the Middle East's oil. According to the Bible Code the coming Battle of Armageddon will involve the 3 major monotheistic religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam. As the so-called Christian nation in Asia, the Philippines and other "Christian" nations as well as the non-Christian members of the United Nations, and the "New World Order" will get involved inevitably in the Battle of Armageddon in Israel. Perhaps the biological, chemical, nuclear and star war weapons of mass destruction would be used!

The combustion of the local and imported fossil-based fuels in millions of the vehicles with obsolete engine technologies around the world is the main cause of the smog, environmental pollutions and climate changes.  Some authors say that global warming is a hoax, but are they in denial of the catastrophes around the world? Even the U.S. Military goes "to war" against the climate sceptics!

Once again, about 7.7 million people globally die each year from respiratory causes due to the smog, ozone and other pollutants. The sooner we all switch to the free energy, alternative, renewable and cleaner fuels as well as the alternative engines or motors, the more chances we have of preventing the biggest war in the Middle East. If or when we delay using the alternative, renewable and cleaner fuels including the alternative-powered engines or motors, the global smog, pollutions and the Battle of Armageddon or World War 3 will be inflicting heavy collateral damage to over 7.6 billion living souls, including you and your loved ones in our endangered Earth!
